Biography:


Beth A. Lauck received her undergraduate degree cum laude in political science from the University of Notre Dame in 2003.  She received the Honors at Entrance Scholarship to Loyola University Chicago School of Law and completed her Juris Doctor in 2007. 

While in law school, Ms. Lauck participated in Loyola’s Elder Law Clinic for three semesters, where she acted as guardian ad litem in adult guardianship proceedings and counseled elderly clients in guardianship and related matters.  Through the elder law clinic, she also drafted legislation and lobbied for House Bill 652 to expand home care services to the elderly under the Community Care Program.

Ms. Lauck completed coursework in elder law, Federal estate and gift taxation, trusts and estates, and estate planning.  She also clerked at the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian in the Adult Guardianship Division and for the Honorable Michael T. Mason, Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
