Our Indiana practice is designed to encompass all the same practice areas as our Illinois practice with five attorneys (Mr. Sawyier, Ms. Neri, Mr. Maupin, and our Of Counsel attorneys, Herbert S. Lasser and Professor Richard F. Ruby) available to serve our clients regularly in the Indiana office, and Mr. Williams, the firm’s full-time litigation partner, also available for particular contested cases on a pro hac vice basis.

Our custom-designed new Chesterton condominium law office occupies the first floor of the 830 East Sidewalk Road (1050 North) building in Coffee Creek Center just east of Highway 49. This prime location offers ample free parking immediately behind the building and office (which are both handicapped-accessible) and in the lot across Sidewalk Road adjacent to the Pavilion Center and the Nature Conservancy at Coffee Creek.

Mr. Sawyier and his wife now reside in Chesterton, nearby the Chesterton office. His parents owned the same home and surrounding property for more than forty years before he and his wife acquired it several years ago from their estate.

Mr. Sawyier’s family also has long-standing Valparaiso ties. For example, his great uncle, Robert Murray, owned the Sunset Hill Farm, which he gave to Porter County as the Sunset Hill County Park. For another example, his uncle and aunt, Arthur and Ethel Horton, owned the Pradera Farm, another notable Valparaiso property, and were likewise long-time benefactors of Valparaiso charities.
